Meet the Interns: Tiffeni Russo
Meet the Interns: Tiffeni Russo
(Orlando Field & Development Intern)
1. Tell us a little about yourself...
I moved to Orlando about two years ago, to study political science pre-law at the University of Central Florida. Since then, I'm become involved in just about every pro-LGBT campaign in my community.
2. Why are you involved with LGBT activism?
I am honored to have had the privilege to work with such incredible and hard working individuals in this fight like Gabrielle Shulruff, Derek Covington, and Jess Osborn. I was more than enthralled upon receipt of the news that I could apply to be an intern at Equality Florida, as I am a big fan of what this organization stands for.
3. Why did you want to intern at Equality Florida?
I am a bit of a philanthropist in the sense that I love helping others. To be able to dedicate myself to a greater cause, so to speak, is what piqued my interest.
4. What are your plans after you graduate?
After I graduate, I plan to go to law school, hopefully at Stetson University. I cannot wait for orientation!
Stay tuned next week for the next blog post in our "Meet The Interns" series!
