We've long understood that Gainesville is a critical partner in the statewide struggle for LGBT equality and this move comes on the heels of two years of deep investment in the Gainesville community, first in the No on Charter Amendment 1 campaign of 2009 and again in the 2010 Mayor's race.
Mallory Wells, EQFL's Public Policy Director, will be our first staff on the ground and will lead the organization through the office transition. Join us on February 1st to celebrate this historic moment of growth and help us welcome Mallory to Gainesville!
