What I did for....Equality?
This past weekend Equality Florida had it's first public fundraiser in Osceola County when it partnered with the Osceola Center for the Arts to promote a special benefit performance of the hit Broadway musical A Chorus Line. Directed by Donald Rupe, an EQFL Florida Council Member, A Chorus Line was produced as a part the Center's 2009-2010 Broadway Series and included a cast of Central Florida actors and actresses (one of whom may or may not have been an EQFL staffer!).
The special 4:00pm benefit performance on Sat. Jan. 30th donated half of it's ticket sales to EQFL, raising $600+. Each cast member wore an Equality Florida sticker during the performance.
