Join The Resistance on March 18th - 20th

This March, we’re kicking off the 2025 Legislative Session with a powerful call to action: show up, make your voice heard, and hold lawmakers accountable. Last year, thanks to your dedication, we helped defeat or neutralize 21 out of 22 anti-LGBTQ bills. Now, the fight continues. The stakes are high, and we need you to stand with us as we tackle the 60 most dangerous days in Florida politics.

Equality Florida's Pride At The Capitol Event On March 18th & 19th

Pride at the Capitol is our campaign to show up and fight back against Governor Ron DeSantis and his legislative allies’ bills aimed at taking our freedoms, censoring our voices, and infringing on our rights. This is our time to mobilize our community and allies to defeat as many harmful bills as possible, reduce the damage of any legislation that may pass, and champion our proactive legislation.

That's why we need you at Pride at the Capitol where you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Meet with lawmakers to share your story
  • Testify at committee hearing (where bills go to become laws)
  • Join Resist rallies and engage with the media
  • Work in teams with like-minded people across Florida

This year's Pride at The Capitol Kick-Off takes place on March 18th and 19th. We ask that you plan to show up both days as we show up in force to and make a resounding impact throughout session.

Schedule of Events (March 18–19)
Over two days (9am-5pm ET daily), you'll gain the tools, connections, and opportunities needed to make a difference:

  • March 18: Start with a half-day lobby training and legislative briefing, followed by team-building, meetings with lawmakers, and a press conference. In the evening, connect with fellow advocates at an optional reception.
  • March 19: Continue with small group meetings, advocacy efforts, and potential committee hearings (details finalized closer to the event).

Second Annual Let Us Live March On March 20th

After Equality Florida's Pride At The Capitol Kick-Off, stay another day to join us in the Let Us Live March on March 20th, a powerful rally led by trans leaders from across the state.

The event will run from 8am-noon ET, including a march to the Old Capitol steps and a rally featuring trans leaders and pro-equality lawmakers.
