Republican leaders hijacked the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), turning a vital $855 billion military spending bill into a weapon for their extremist agenda. Instead of focusing on pay raises for troops, improvements to on-base housing, and expanded support for low-income military families, they inserted a cruel provision that blocks medically necessary care for transgender children of military service members.
