The results are (mostly) in, and I couldn’t wait another second to share the news. This has been a big, big night with history-making wins by Black LGBTQ candidates and voters tossing out anti-LGBTQ incumbents all across the state.

With less than 100 days left until General Election Day, Equality Florida Action PAC is advancing the largest pro-equality voter mobilization program in it's 23 year history.
TALLAHASSEE - Florida House District 2 candidate Cris Dosev recently released a false and transphobic ad attacking the incumbent office holder, State Representative Alex Andrade. The ad makes demonstrably false claims rooted in transphobia and levels other vague, unverified allegations about Andrade “bully[ing] mothers and grandmothers.” Equality Florida unequivocally condemns the rampant bigotry by Dosev.
In April, Broward Sheriff's Deputy Shannon Bennett was exposed to COVID-19 on the job and tragically lost his life.
Civil Rights Groups and Thousands of County Residents Call for Civilian Oversight of Miami-Dade Police
Jeff Delmay, who served as a plaintiff in the lawsuit that led to the first same-sex marriages in Florida, has been named Co-Chair of Equality Florida’s Board of Directors. Jeff has served on the board since 2016 and accepted the new leadership role during their board meeting in April of this year. His 3-year term begins immediately.
Florida’s Largest LGBTQ Civil Rights Organization, Equality Florida Action PAC, endorsed Michele Rayner for State House District 70 in the Democratic Primary.
