Strategic Partnerships Fellow

Summary

The Strategic Partnerships Fellow assists the Strategic Partnerships Manager in business outreach efforts for Equality Florida. Through Equality Means Business and Open Doors, this individual plays a key role in enhancing Equality Florida’s relationship with the business community. This is a work-from-home position.

Additionally, the Strategic Partnerships Fellow:

• Understands the critical role businesses play in advancing Equality Florida’s mission;
• Possesses strong written communication skills;
• Works on a virtual team and is a self-starter;
• Works proficiently with Microsoft Office and Google’s online applications;
• Uses social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, etc.);
• Works some weeknights and weekends; and
• Passionately believes in the work to bring full equality to Florida’s LGBTQ community!

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the recruiting and onboarding of new Equality Means Business Advisory Council members and Open Doors members
• Approves Open Doors memberships and provides requested materials and support to approved program members
• Assists in the planning, promotion, and execution of business outreach events
• Ensures the accuracy of Equality Means Business Advisory Council members’ profile information
• Communicates program updates with Equality Means Business Advisory Council members and Open Doors members
• Updates Equality Means Business and Open Doors marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, brochures, and event collateral
• Other duties as assigned

Location: Statewide/Remote

Commitment: 10 hours a week per semester

Pay: $15/hour for the semester
