Miami court rules in favor of gay marriage

The state's ban on gay marriage has been overturned — again.

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Sarah Zabel on Friday issued a ruling overturning the ban in the case of Pareto v. Ruvin.

The ruling made gay marriage legal in Miami-Dade County for a brief moment, but Zabel stayed her order overturning the gay marriage ban pending an appeal from state Attorney General Pam Bondi.
