Jacksonville Volunteer Opportunities!

On August 11, after a year of work, the Atlantic Beach City Commission voted 4-0 on final reading to adopt a Human Rights Ordinance (HRO) that protects LGBT people from discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations. This victory is so important in our fight for full equality in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
But we can't stop now. This is a huge step toward passing a fully inclusive Human Rights Ordinance for Duval County. Let's keep the momentum going and show them we’re not going anywhere!
Everyday we work on building a team of volunteers who canvass local events, advocating and sharing stories about the importance of passing a Human Rights Ordinance. We are looking for supporters like yourselves to come out and speak up about equality. Help us reach our goal of 20,000 supporters.
