Join us for Equality Florida Lobby Days March 11-12!
Lobby Days 2019 training will begin promptly at 9:00am on Monday, March 11 in the Capitol building. Please be there at 8:30am to receive your training packet and team assignment. The room location will be e-mailed to registered participants.
Our comprehensive training will include: an update on the current climate of the Florida legislature; lobby techniques; and in-depth information regarding the LGBTQ equality, reproductive justice, and gun violence prevention for the 2019 session.
After the training staff will put you into teams and give you a list of pre-scheduled meetings to attend.

SCHEDULE
On Monday, March 11 we are asking all attendees to meet at 8:30am to check in and receive training materials. We will be starting our training promptly at 9:00am. Lobby Days will conclude on Tuesday, March 12 at 6:00pm. A full agenda will be emailed to registered participants. Lunch will be provided both days.

PARKING
There is metered street parking all around the Capitol complex. There are also several parking garages, including Kleman Plaza parking garage, a block from the Capitol.

ATTIRE
Businesses appropriate attire should be worn while in the Capitol. This includes suits, slacks, button up shirts, knee-length skirts, dresses and close-toed shoes. No jeans. Please wear comfortable (but business appropriate) shoes as there is a lot of walking involved in Lobby Days.
