Last year, hundreds of people from across the state joined us for the kick-off of our Pride At The Capitol campaign in Tallahassee! Now, as we prepare for the upcoming 2024 Legislative Session — the 60 most dangerous days in Florida — it's up to us to show up, make our voices heard, and hold lawmakers accountable for their actions.

What Is Pride At The Capitol?

During the 2023 legislative session, we fought back against Governor Ron DeSantis and his legislative allies’ “Slate of Hate” – an unprecedented combination of bad bills aimed at taking our freedoms, censoring our voices, and infringing on our rights. Now, DeSantis's rubber stamping Republican supermajority has claimed they have "unfinished business". It's up to us to be laser-focused on mobilizing our community and allies to defeat as many harmful bills as possible while working to mitigate the damage of any legislation that does pass. That's why we need you at our Pride at the Capitol kick-off! You'll have opportunities to testify at committee hearings, meet with lawmakers to share your story, take part in rallies, and speak to the media. We're going to be in the Capitol every day of every week — and our Pride At The Capitol Kick-off event is just the beginning!
