[TAKE ACTION] Tell Pinellas County to Pass a Domestic Partnership Registry!

Tell Pinellas County to Pass a Domestic Partnership Registry!

Tuesday at 9:30am the Pinellas County Commission will vote on whether or not to move forward with a countywide Domestic Partnership Registry that would provide essential legal protections for unmarried couples.

It’s critical that pro-equality supporters SHOW UP for the public hearing and wear RED shirt!

A Domestic Partnership Registry is a simple legal tool that provides access to a handful of essential family protections including hospital visitation, emergency services and the ability to make funeral arrangements.

More and more places are learning the benefits of offering domestic partnerships, recognizing that Domestic Partner Registries are the best way for local governments to create the strongest protections for unmarried couples.

Join us to encourage the Pinellas County leaders to pass the proposed ordinance, modeled after Florida communities like Volusia County, Gainesville, Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg and Orlando.
