Sean Crumpacker
Sean has been Equality Florida’s Community Organizer in the Central Florida region since 2025 and is a passionate LGBTQ+ advocate.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, where he began organizing LGBTQ+ – especially transgender – students, after recognizing the unique needs of queer students whose first chances to self-express may not arrive until after leaving the family home. Sean also sits on the Steering Committee for the Immigrants Are Welcome Here Coalition.
As a Navy kid, Sean was born in Japan and spent his childhood abroad in Asia and Europe. Sean carries this worldly experience into all of his advocacy work, from cultural inclusivity and the pursuit of universal human equality, to the dismantling of fascist systems of power. Aside from LGBTQ+ equality, Sean is very passionate about advocating for mental health awareness, veterans’ issues, and environmental preservation.
Outside of advocacy work, Sean enjoys festivals, spending time with his dog Jackie, exploring Central Florida’s wildlife, gaming, writing, and attending Orlando’s underground music events.
