Position Description:

 

  • 1st Priority: handle all failing/expiring credit cards and outstanding pledges. Reach out to donors for updated credit card information via email and phone.
  • 2nd Priority: Data entry of checks deposited and credit cards received via our database system
  • 3rd priority: Process donor thank you letters and record maintenance

 

Other duties:

 

  • Record pledges in the database
  • Record pledges in the general ledger
  • Post one-time & recurring donations, and pledge payments in the general ledger
  • Confirm bank deposits
  • Reconcile donations between the database and general ledger monthly
  • Reconcile the general ledger's receipts to the bank statement deposits 
  • Take over the posting of donation receipts to the general ledger
  • Reconcile outstanding pledges between the database and general ledger quarterly
  • Address updates from returned mail 
  • Invoicing program fees (EMB, Trans Inclusion, Schools); send out statements and collect outstanding receivables
  • Confirm payment plans (sending confirmation emails summarizing payment plan)
  • Reconcile gala fundraising between the database and development staff's offline tracking
  • Maintain gala sponsor level tracking in donor records
  • Create prospecting reports for each gala
  • Record maintenance and updates 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Comfortable with computer applications such as email, calendar, Google Drive, etc.
  • Comfortable working in online database applications
  • High level of organizational skills, attention to details and customer service
  • Ability to work from home with little supervision
  • Live in the Tampa Bay area for at least the first 6 months for in-person training

 

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 /hour
