Volunteers will come into our office in Gainesville and make calls to candidates to remind them to fill out the Equality Florida candidate questionnaire. Candidate questionnaires are how we create our voters guide for the upcoming elections, and one of the ways we get LGBT supportive people out to vote. The questionnaires also tell us which candidates are supportive of LGBT issues and which candidates would be harmful to the LGBT community if elected.
By making calls to candidates you will be helping with an integral part of Equality Florida's election programming. To volunteer on June 18 or 19, please e-mail billy@eqfl.org.
