The Transgender Day of Remembrance, which honors the memory of those murdered because of transphobia, or the fear of transgender and gender non-conforming people, is recognized annually on November 20.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance is an important day to gather and share stories about the pervasive problem of hate crimes against transgender people, as well as the diversity and resilience of the community in the face of harassment and violence. This weekend we hope that you'll mark the occasion by attending a vigil in your community (details listed below).
